Course Description
Business management is important as almost every aspect of a business depends on good management. This course is a well-rounded programme that covers concepts such as managing people and change, economics, decision making and managerial finance. Students will be able to identify with business theories and management issues throughout the course as they begin to develop their advanced knowledge of business concepts. This course is also ideal for those who wish to manage or start their own business and is equivalent to the second year of a Bachelors degree.

Academic Requirements
Applicants must have completed ONE of the following:

  • ABE Level 4 Diploma
  • BTEC Level 4 HNC in a business related area
  • Any MNQF Level 5 Business related diploma accepted by the ABE  which has 120 credits

  • International Business Economics and Markets

Plus Two Optional Subject from below:

  • Operations Management
  • Analytical Decision-making
  • Managing Stakeholder Relationships

Students may also wish to specialize in the ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources, or the ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing.

Credit: 120 credits

All subjects are assessed by time constrained examinations or take home assignments that are set by ABE.
