Course: ACCA Advanced Diploma In Accounting & Business
When I was in school, I was determined to complete my education by the time I was in my early 20s. Upon receiving my O’ Level results, I made the decision to pursue accounting as my field of study. Immediately after completing my O’ Levels, I began studying AAT. After starting AAT, I struggled in my classes and eventually failed, which left me feeling unsure of myself.
I started my career as an account assistant when I was 18 years old. After failing the AAT, I almost gave up on my studies since I feared I wouldnt pass them. I stopped studying because I no longer had the confidence in myself. I delayed completing my studies for quite a while. My family, friends, and coworkers encouraged me to continue my studies because they believed I could succeed. I made the choice to continue and enrolled in MAPS College when my colleague gave positive feedback about the college.
Im currently studying ACCA Skills level. This June, I completed my ACCA knowledge level. My 1.5 years of MAPS College experience has been outstanding. The lecturers and management are extremely helpful. I will always be grateful for the dedicated lecturers at MAPS college who have been helping me to do well every day. Their advice and support have been instrumental in shaping my journey.

  • Industry expects students to apply management theories to actual practical experience. Partnerships between industry and institutions like MAPS College are crucial to prepare students for what is going to be their real lives.

The ABE program is a highly practical program and allows you to express your opinions. The program uses real-life situations to practice problem solving. I believe the teaching methods and faculty mixed with live presentations and slide shows in MAPS College focus on current trends and scenarios help the research with the help of round the clock internet. A quite impressive method of teaching with the feeling of direct practice rather than too theoretical method.

Classroom discussion and students’ projects are great opportunities for me to implement my learning experience jointly with my students how management theories can be applied and extended to build more effective and competitive organizations.
