Course Description
This course will provide the basic language skills in Arabic Language. Students who complete this course would be able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases. Students would also be able to introduce him/herself and others in Arabic Language and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
This qualification also prepares students to interact in Arabic Language in a simple way and understand the meaning of simple text of Arabic language.

Certificate for this course will be awarded by MAPS College.

Academic Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum entry requirements:
- Completion of the 6th year of School AND ability to communicate in English language
- 16 years old AND ability to communicate in English language
Candidates without the above requirements shall be evaluated on an individual basis, utilizing individual interviews to judge candidates’ ability to follow this course.

Compulsory Subjects:
- Introduction to General Rules
- General Conversation
- Introduction to Numbers and Verb Conjugations
There are no Optional Subjects.
Duration: 6 weeks
Intakes: Throughout the year.
Course Assessments
All subjects will be assessed by time constrained exams that are set and marked by MAPS College.
