Course Description
Business management is important as almost every aspect of a business depends on good management. In order to ensure stability of the business and potential for future growth, all businesses need to manage their finances correctly. Knowledge of finance is one of the core skills of running a profitable operation and is integral to all areas of the business. The ABE now offers a Financial Management (FM) pathway within the Business Management programme. The new pathway system allows greater flexibility for students who now have the option to complete multiple qualifications simultaneously.

In addition to the business management core subjects that cover concepts such as marketing, human resource management, organizational psychology, law, and managerial finance, student will have to study “Managerial Accounting” and “Systems Management and Internal Financial Controls” subjects to become specialised in the Financial Management Pathway. This course provides the foundation for advanced studies and is ideal for those students who wish to manage or start their own business.

The ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management with specialism in Financial Management is accepted at many universities (see ABE Website for details) and can be used as a pre-requisite for entry into second year of University or the ABE Level 6 Diploma. See Pathway below for more details.
