Course Description
The effective management of an organization’s human resources is now recognized as a critical component in the success of public and private enterprises. The ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources looks at how companies employ people, develop their capabilities, use them to meet the company objectives, and compensate them for their efforts. The course builds upon the knowledge gained in earlier level and is equivalent to the second year of a Bachelors degree.

Certificate for this course will be awarded by the Association of Business Executives (ABE).

Academic Requirements
Applicants must have completed ONE of the following:

  • ABE Level 4 Diploma
  • BTEC Level 4 HNC in a business related area
  • Any MNQF Level 5 Business related diploma accepted by the ABE  which has 120 credits

  • Innovation and Business Performance
  • Effective Financial Management
  • International Business Economics and Markets

Plus Two Optional Subject from below:

  • Human Resource Management
  • Employee Engagement
  • The HR Professional

Students may also wish to choose from the ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management, or the ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing.

Duration: 1 year (2 semesters)

Credit: 120 credits

Mode of Study: Face to Face (Male’ Campus only)

Course Assessments
All subjects are assessed by time constrained examinations or take home assignments that are set by ABE.
