Course Description
HR managers are needed in all organizations irrespective of size and their importance is being increasingly appreciated. While building upon knowledge gained from previous levels, the ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources looks at the strategic implications of the human resource function within an organization. On successful completion of the course students would know how to plan, create and evaluate HR strategies to meet the corporate mission and objectives, whilst developing staff on a continual basis. The course is equivalent to the final year of a Bachelors degree.

Academic Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum entry requirements:

  • ABE Level 5 Diploma
  • BTEC HND in a  Business related area
  • Any business related Level 6 Advanced Diploma accepted by ABE which has 120 credits

  • Developing International Markets
  • Business Ethics and Sustainability

Plus Two Optional Subject from below:

  • Strategic HRM
  • Organisational Design, Development and Performance
  • Contemporary Developments in Global HRM

Students may also wish to choose from the ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management, or the ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing.

Duration: 1 year (2 semesters)

Credits: 120 credits

Intakes: January and June

Mode of Study: Face to Face (Male’ Campus only)

Course Assessments
All subjects are assessed by time constrained examinations or take home assignments that are set by ABE.
