This January, MAPS College will be starting over 40 courses, covering Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, Information Technology and our higher-level University of Bedfordshire MBA programme. The forthcoming intake promises to be the biggest ever for MAPS College, in terms of courses and students, with courses available from Certificate I level all the way to Masters degree level, including a wide range of international qualifications.

MAPS College officially launched the January 2018 intake with a ceremony held at the College, after which time the College formally opened for January 2018 applications. Highlights of the January 2018 intake include the revised suite of Business, Marketing and Human Resource Management qualifications from ABE, which have been fully updated to ensure the content is as up-to-date as possible, and that the progression routes attached to the international qualifications are as wide as possible. MAPS College will be offering the Level 4, 5 and 6 ABE qualifications, which are equivalent to the first, second and final year of a Bachelors degree.

Other notable qualifications to commence in January include our increasingly popular Advanced Certificates in Business Administration, Tourism Management and Information Technology – all of which can be completed in just 8 months, and are the quickest and lowest-cost Advanced Certificates available in the Maldives currently. Our dual awarded Associate degrees in Business Management, Marketing, Accounting and Human Resource Management will all have intakes in January, giving students a great combination of a MAPS College Associate degree certificate and a Pearson-Edexcel international BTEC HND Certificate allowing progression onto the final year of many Business degrees at international universities. The Associate degree courses are especially beneficial for students since not only do they provide a globally recognized international qualification, they are also the fastest and lowest-cost comparable qualification in the Maldives, helping students progress onto higher studies as early as possible.

At the higher-levels, January 2018 will see MAPS College commence new intakes for the University of Bedfordshire Bachelors degree in Business Administration, and the University of Bedfordshire Masters in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Business, Fiance or Hospital and Health Services Management.

More specialized qualifications available include our range of ACCA accounting qualifications, and our suite of Information Technology qualifications from Certificate Level 1 up to the MAPS College Bachelors degree in IT.

To support students even more, MAPS College has entered into partnership with Maldives Islamic Bank to allow qualifying students to receive a loan with MIB to cover the cost of the course fees. At the Launching Ceremony for our January 2018 intake, MAPS College and MIB signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the implementation of the loan scheme, which will enable more students to invest in themselves and achieve their academic goals with MAPS College and MIB.
