MAPS College held a launching ceremony today to officially open our June 2018 intake. At the ceremony, representatives from the College and the Student Association spoke about the available course and opportunities provided by MAPS College.

The June intake will see courses open for applications in a broad range of subject areas, including Business, Marketing, Management, Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, and Tourism Management.

Students interested in joining MAPS College this June can choose from both local qualifications and international qualifications from the UK. The College works with international providers such as ACCA, ABE, University of Bedfordshire and Oxford Brookes University, as well as offering local courses, all of which are fully approved by the Maldives Qualification Authority.

The June 2018 intake will see opportunities to join courses from Certificate Level I, all the way up to the University of Bedfordshire MBA courses specializing in Finance, Healthcare Management and a General MBA. The most popular courses include the Level 4 Advanced Certificates (8 months duration) and the MAPS College Associate’s Degree (18 months duration).

The application closing date for the June 2018 intake is 31 May 2018. Students can apply online or in person at our Henveyru Campus, located on Janavaree Magu. In total, more than 30 courses will be open for applications this June, with opportunities for up to 400 students to enroll on our courses, including Block Mode courses. All courses are suitable for those in full-time employment as classes are delivered on evenings or weekends only, and all courses are fully approved by MQA.

Block Mode Courses: these courses give working students more flexibility in attending classes. Instead of attending classes every day, students who are studying under the ā€˜Block Mode’ will only attend classes a few days a week or month, or during the weekends, depending on their chosen course. Weekends blocks enable those students who are working in resorts and living in islands near to Male’ to attend classes without difficulty.
