Course Description
The qualification aims to prepare learners for employment in the appropriate vocational sector and it is suitable for those who have decided that they wish to enter a particular area of work. It is broadly equivalent to GCE A Levels.

This qualification also prepares students to progress to MNQF Level 7 Bachelors Degree Programs.

MAPS Foundation Studies in Marketing Management provides further education path into the many diverse areas of business. These include management, marketing, finance, customer service or human resources.

Academic Requirements
Applicant must meet one of the following minimum entry requirements:

  • 3 O Level passes (C or above) including SSC or equivalent
  • Completed a MNQF Level 3 qualification
  • 16 years of age and completion of any MNQF Level 3 qualification.
  • 18 years old and completion of grade 7 and 1 year work experience

Semester One

  • MFS-401-96:¬†Academic English
  • MFS-402-97:¬†Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics
  • MFS-404-99:¬†Business Communication
  • MFS-403-98: Introduction to Marketing

Semester Two

  • MFS-405-100:¬†The Business Environment
  • MFS-406-101:¬†Managing a Business Event
  • MFS-407-102:¬†Internet Marketing in Business
  • MFS-408-103:¬†Market Research in Business

Duration: 8 months (2 semesters)

Intakes: Major intakes are in January and June but students can join the course anytime.

Course Assessments
All subjects will be assessed by coursework (i.e. assignments, presentation, oral-test, case-studies, etc).
